Orthopedics Physician

We re seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum coverage for a Level II Trauma Center in Tacoma, Washington.

Position Details :

Start Date : December 25

Schedule : 2 weeks per month (ongoing, 6 9 months)

Setting : Hospital and outpatient clinic

Duties : 24 / 7 ER coverage with dedicated PA support; approximately 3 outpatient clinic mornings per week (schedule flexible)

Required Procedures : Full spectrum of orthopedic cases (excluding complex pelvic)

EMR : EPIC

Support : Hospital team and clinic MA

Experience & Requirements :

Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Required

Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Required

Minimum 5 years of Level II Trauma experience Required

Active WA license or IMLC with LOQ Preferred

BLS and DEA Required (can be obtained prior to start)

Clean malpractice Highly preferred

Compensation Highlights :

Hourly : $300 / hr

On-Call : $2700 per 24 hours (includes 4 gratis hours)

Holiday Call : $4,000

Ideal Candidate :

Orthopedic Surgeon with solid trauma experience, comfortable covering a busy Level II Trauma Center, and available for consistent 2-week blocks.
