    • Job Responsibilities

  • Sets up, starts and runs all machinery
  • Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specification and inserts into machinery, or ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and inserts pre-blended materials into machinery
  • Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoots equipment and processing issues
  • Operates machinery to mix, extrude / discharge or handle materials
  • May take samples of materials to lab for evaluation and instructions on any batch adjustments if needed
  • Performs all required machine cleaning
  • Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc
  • Requires standing and sitting for extended periods of time, talking and listening
  • Must be able to walk and use hands. Occasionally requires bending, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs
  • May occasionally be required to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to frequently communicate and understand work instructions and information in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where noise level is loud.
  • Must be able to detect and discern safety alarms and respond accordingly.
  • Generally requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, respiratory protection
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions is routine
  • May be exposed to working in extreme heat and humidity
  • May also be exposed on occasion to dust or fumes

    • Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Drug Test
  • Must be at least 18 years old

    • The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.00 - $20.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer medical, dental, vision, life, and more.
