This job will entail helping A / P, A / R & Payroll.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Accounting experience
• Accounting degree or equivalent experience
• Regular, predictable and punctual attendance
• Team Player

Position Summaries

Receive invoices. Match to receivers and PO's. Verify accuracy of all information including quantity, pricing, and job code and enter in Accounts Payable system.

Receive expense reimbursement requests and review for accuracy and approval. Enter in Accounts Payable system.

Enter loan payments in system in order to expense monthly and pay on a timely basis.

Do check runs weekly for corporate invoices and employee expense reimbursements and semi-monthly for job invoices. Print checks and review for accuracy. Match all supporting invoices to check. Submit to CFO for approval and signature. Mail / distribute as appropriate.

Reconcile monthly vendor statements and follow-up on differences and aged items.

Follow-up on credits due from vendors.

Maintain permanent vendor files (credit applications, terms, etc).

Other tasks as assigned

Insure vendor invoices, vehicle payments, facility payments, insurance payments and expense reimbursements are verified, approved and paid on a timely basis and that all payments are assigned to the proper general ledger code.

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.
