Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room within a short-term acute care hospital Specializes in surgical services including neuro, ortho, trauma, vascular, and robotic procedures Evening shifts, 4x10 hours from 1 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM Call required : 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6 weeks with potential weekday shift extensions Holiday rotation and 1-2 weekend work shifts required per 6 weeks Floating may occur within the hospital or to affiliated nearby hospitals depending on census Cerner EMR experience is required Responsible for circulating and scrubbing in a variety of complex surgical procedures Scrub attire is provided by the facility Must participate in a holiday rotation and be willing to work 1 of 3 holidays if taking RTO during holiday periods Pre-employment completion of up to 8 hours of online modules is required, to be finished within one week of signing Professional conduct is expected throughout the assignment, with strict policies on unprofessional behavior and shift call-offs Return staff must have at least a 3-year gap before returning as a traveler Requirements Active IN or compact RN license, pending accepted if active by start Current certifications : ACLS and BLS required Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required Strong experience in robotic, ortho, trauma, neuro, and vascular procedures required Cerner experience required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted First-time travelers are accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640078.
