Financial Counselor

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Verify client's insurance information and determine medical assistance status upon admission

Assist clients with the application process for medical assistance as needed

Transmit client's third-party payer information to external providers for credits and adjustments

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience in a Medical Office preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience necessary

Ability to comply with state and federal guidelines

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team
