On-Call : Rotating backup call approximately every 5 6 weeks
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Multimodality Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team in McKinney, Texas. Under general supervision of a Radiologist, the technologist performs imaging procedures in two or more disciplines , with a significant focus on an advanced modality such as CT. These procedures are conducted for ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider, in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to exam protocols
Utilize AIDET communication framework to educate and guide patients through procedures
Prepare patients and imaging areas, including positioning, immobilization, and equipment adjustment
Maintain safety for patients and staff by adhering to infection control, radiation safety, and sterile techniques
Maintain imaging equipment and collaborate with engineers or physicists to ensure optimal performance
Screen patients and visitors according to safety protocols
Obtain, verify, and maintain patient documentation, including requisitions, medical history, pregnancy status, and consent forms
Maintain accurate imaging records in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards
Serve as a preceptor, providing training to new staff and supporting new services
Respond appropriately in emergency situations and administer first aid if needed
Ensure patient satisfaction through timely, courteous, and professional service
Qualifications
X-ray & CT experience (2+ years in each)
Active Texas license
ARRT certification
US Citizen or Green Card holder
