Locker Room Attendant

Summary : Assigns dressing room facilities, locker space or clothing containers, and supplies to Golf Club members by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Issues locker key.
• Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of locker room, front desk area, at all times.
• Arranges for refreshments as requested.
• Restocks supplies such as tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo, razors, aftershave, etc.
• Arranges for services such as clothes pressing and shoe shining.
• Collects soiled linen, restocks linens and performs cleaning tasks such as mopping dressing room floors, washing shower room walls and cleaning bathroom facilities.

Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. Education and / or Experience : High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills : Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills : Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
