Position Overview

The Closing Administrator is responsible for providing quality customer service by completing a basic review of loan files submitted to closing. The Closing Administrator completes verifications of employment, assists in the completion of closing documentation, and assists with loan assignments. The Closing Administrator also provides support to the closing manager, team leads, closers, and post-closers with special projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete basic review of loan files to ensure necessary documentation and data fields in loan origination system are complete and accurate.
  • Complete verbal verifications of employment on assigned loans.
  • Assist in loan assignments and rush requests.
  • Work with closing manager, closing team leads, closers, and post-closers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of mortgage or lending experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory rules, laws, regulations, underwriting guidelines relevant to the mortgage industry.
  • Encompass experience preferred.

    Pay Range : Hourly Rate : $16.00-18.00

    The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
