Material Handler

Job Summary :

We are hiring a reliable Material Handler to join our busy Los Angeles, California warehouse. This role is fundamental to the efficient movement of goods within our facility, supporting our expansive Logistics operations. You will be responsible for handling, organizing, and transporting materials to ensure production and order fulfillment processes run smoothly. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.

Responsibilities :

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Organize and stack materials to ensure efficient use of space and easy access.
• Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying counts and condition of goods.
• Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
• Perform regular checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Strictly follow all Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Utilize required PPE at all times, such as safety shoes and gloves.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and work areas.
