Maintenance Technician (8pm-430am)

The Maintenance Technician will be r eporting to the Maintenance Manager w orking with cross functional team s to resolve concerns that will affect the daily operation. The maintenance technician will maintain and repair Peets roasting plant equipment and facilities to keep them in good working condition. Maintain and keep a good attendance record.

Hourly Pay Range : $25-35 / hr

Location : Alameda CA Fully onsite M-F 8pm-4 : 30am (subject to change)

What You Will Do :

Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment according to the maintenance schedule.

Diagnose and repair filling and assembly lines as needed.

Interpret and utilize system error messages on related equipment .

Understand roasting equip ment operation which include s the operation of HMI s.

Be able to work on bag slitters and pallet lifter.

Perform diagnosis and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic system s.

Read and interpret electrical diagrams as per equipment repairs and diagnosis .

Possess the ability to use and understand multimeters.

Repair f acilities related items doors dock levelers lights ballasts sinks drains and general grounds maintenance.

Assists with roasting equipment maintenance which will require the ability to work on ladders and use basic hand and power tools.

Perform and a ssist in line change over and setups .

Who You Are :

Must be mechanically inclined.

Ability to work with computers for accurate data entry and to access machine manuals.

Be able to work with a CMMS (computer maintenance management system) or understand such systems.

Ability to define problems collect data establish facts make recommendations draw conclusions and communicate effectively.

Must be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Must possess a valid California drivers license and provide proof of a good driving record.

Ability to take direction and a willingness to learn new skills.

Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends or evenings and to work occasional overtime.

The target annual base salary range for this position is $25 $35 . The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including the applicants qualifications years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education certifications or licenses other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors and the geographic location of the addition to base pay individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
