  • Minimum 8+ years of database installation experience with Oracle & SQL server standalone and RAC & Always ON cluster implementations, preferably using automation.
  • Minimum 4 years of MSSQL server DBA experience.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Oracle and SQL server administrator certifications.
  • MSSQL always ON and various other SQL replication technology experience
  • Experience working in production environments requiring 99.99% availability.
  • Oracle Database Admin should have hand-on experience in Oracle 9i / 10g / 11g / 12c , Oracle Exadata
  • Broad technical expertise with deep technical knowledge in Oracle RDBMS 10g, 11g, 12c and 19c and MSSQL 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
  • Expert level knowledge : General RDBMS, Database tuning, SQL tuning, Database Statistics, Database upgrades, Data Guard, Database access management with roles & profiles.
  • Solid working level knowledge : RAC (Real Application Clusters), Exadata (X5), Data Guard, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle database compliance framework, vi editor, working with Oracle Databases on Unix (AIX) and RedHat / Oracle Linux.
  • Responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the database and its contents, included but not limited to planning and development, data maintenance, reporting, troubleshooting, create and maintain support documentation, training, web and third-party tools integration. Perform data management of databases.
  • Provide project support & coordination, day to day upkeep of databases and stakeholder inquires. Providing support for mission critical databases that drive our critical applications.
  • Build automation tools. Perform tuning, troubleshooting, and patching activities. Participate in infrastructure planning. Support staff in diagnosing and resolving operational data issues
  • Performs, supports, and validates weekly / monthly patching / reboots.
  • Manages and remediates vulnerabilities.
  • Tracks weekly / monthly statistics.
  • Installs, rotates, and maintains certificates.
  • Actions audit request
  • 24x7 on-call Production support.
  • Creates and enhances SOPs.
