Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,875 per week

The role includes providing palliative care and educating families on oncological processes. Urology and telemetry patients are also part of the care provided. Registered nurses will work 36 or 48-hour contract options with every other weekend required. Patient ratios are 4-5 : 1 during the day and 5-6 : 1 at night. Strong candidates without oncology experience may be considered. The environment requires administration of chemotherapy, central line care, and blood product administration. All candidates are expected to float as needed within their scope of practice to meet facility needs. The facility promotes a collaborative work culture with interdisciplinary support. Weekly schedules may include weekend shifts and blocked schedule requests can be accommodated. Documentation proficiency with a charting system is required. Ensuring compliance with flu vaccination requirements is necessary, with medical exemptions accepted. All candidates must be prepared to meet pre-employment compliance requirements promptly.
