[job_card.job_description]Work typical schedule of 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, 4 days per week On-call required 1-2 nights per week (approximately 9 shifts in a six-week period) Weekend rotation for on-call required Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs Formulate and implement plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient / family input Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care Provide patient and family education and evaluate effectiveness Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure BLS certification required Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as registered nurse in specialty area Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids Referral bonus
