RN Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care andidentities any issues that affect desired resident outcomes
• Assess, review, and maintain that daily residentcare needs are met, and appropriate resident care is given
• Address resident and staff concerns to promotequality care
• Supervise staff nurses and CNAs to ensure theircompletion and quality of duties
• Make rounds of resident rooms to observe andevaluate residents' physical / emotional state
• Review order and care plans
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary
• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance withestablished policies and procedures
