Product Development Specialist (Kansas City)

Position Summary

As a member of the FSL Product Development team, this position plays a key role in the assessment, development and documentation of new and existing FSL life and health insurance products and programs. This position will work with and provide direction to a number of cross functional teams in the organization and external partners.

Expectations

• Assist with the evaluation of new product and distribution opportunities.
• Facilitate the product development process
• Draft product specifications and maintain product documentation files
• Assist with responses to product filing objections
• Review product and rate related materials produced by FSLs marketers
• Prepare and deliver new product presentations
• Field product questions
• Research and analyze competitors products
• Provide back-up support for FSLs Product Coordinator
• Schedule, coordinate, and attend meetings as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
