THE ROLE

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a / an EHS Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

The EHS Co-op will assist the Environmental Health and Safety team in ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations at one of our manufacturing plants in Massachusetts. This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is ideal for students pursuing a career in EHS. This position specifically will give a student the opportunity to help build a long-lasting foundation of EHS principals at the Rockrimmon site.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
• Assist in identifying potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Support the development of corrective action plans and track the implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, including hazardous waste management, air emissions, and wastewater.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives and programs.
• Assist in the preparation of required regulatory reports, including OSHA logs, environmental reports, and safety audits.
• Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in various EHS projects, including risk assessments, ergonomics studies, and emergency response planning.
• Provide general administrative support to the EHS team as needed.

Compensation : $25-$30 / per hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
