A company is looking for a Health Information Exchange Support Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for patients and providers seeking assistance with MyUofMHealth Patient Portal and related applications
Respond to patient requests for portal activation and manage account deactivations in compliance with regulations
Provide help desk support, educate users on portal benefits, and escalate concerns as needed
Required Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
Two years of experience in healthcare information technology or a similar role, including customer support
One year of experience in a high-volume help desk or support position
Experience with electronic medical record applications and knowledge of patient confidentiality regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently or as part of a team
