Must-Have :
Candidates must be competent in Special Procedures and GE Innova.
Candidates must have recent acute facility IR / Specials experience.
Description : Unit Information :
3 rooms with 1 patient per room.
12 staff members consisting of RNs and Technologists.
Day Shift includes 1 Charge RN, Director, and 3 staff members per room.
Night Shift is an on-call team with 2 members per call team.
Patient Ratios are 1 : 1.
All rooms are equipped with GE equipment.
EMR used is Meditech and MacLab.
Typical hiring profile includes :
Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters are commonly recruited.
Procedures performed include :
Cardiac Cath, Cerebella angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab, and scrubbing.
On-call is required for 1-2 weekday shifts and 1 weekend every 4 weeks.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is a critical thinker focused on patient care.
The work environment is fast-paced, and on-call duties are frequent.
Flexibility is necessary to adapt to the needs of the unit.
Dress Code :
Navy blue, white, or a combination of both.
No other colors are acceptable.
The facility is a 229-bed Joint Commission accredited institution.
