A distinguished Am Law firm seeks a mid-level appellate attorney (4–6 years) for a high-impact appellate and trial support role in Washington, DC. Handle appellate briefs, oral arguments, and trial support on complex matters in a collaborative, nationally recognized litigation team. Key Responsibilities

Handle appellate oral arguments and draft persuasive appellate briefs.

Argue legal motions before trial and appellate courts.

Participate in charge conferences and help ensure preservation of the trial record.

Provide robust trial support, including research, briefing, and motion practice.

Collaborate closely with trial teams to develop and execute legal strategies.

Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in appellate practice and trial support.

Demonstrated courtroom experience, including oral advocacy.

Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Judicial clerkship experience strongly preferred.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (DC or eligibility for DC admission preferred).
