Director Of Strategic Initiatives

The Director of Strategic Initiatives works to develop and implement communication strategies, fundraising efforts, donor relations and stewardship, and special projects in support of the Foundations' initiatives - including, but not limited to, digital engagement, external communication, annual and major gift fundraising, brand awareness, donor acquisition, donor relations and stewardship, and campaign development.

This position works alongside the Director of Digital and the Director of Internal Engagement to support and ensure alignment between all communications and the annual giving-focused Strategy Team members. The Director of Strategic Initiatives reports to the Senior Director of Strategy.

Participate in fundraising campaigns, grant administration, major gift and / or charitable development programs.

• Assist with fundraising campaigns including budgets and timelines. Coordinate the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process.
• Support strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits. Create printed materials and update databases and websites with campaign program information.
• Implement donor relations / recognition activities. Develop donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement.
• Support the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and perform analysis of data for results.
