Summary / Objective

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to solicit develop and service a wide variety of commercial loans and products. The ideal candidate will partner with members prospective members referral sources and internal teams to meet production and growth goals while ensuring exceptional service throughout the lending process. This role also represents the organization within the community cultivating long-term relationships based on trust financial expertise and value.

Essential Functions

Market develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve lending goals.

Represent the organization in the business community establishing a strong presence as the preferred commercial lender.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of commercial products services and industry trends to remain competitive.

Solicit and process applications for loans and other credit products ensuring complete and accurate data collection.

Serve as the central point of contact for members during the application process providing timely and effective communication.

Actively manage and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts ensuring member satisfaction and risk management.

Cross-sell additional financial products and services that align with member needs.

Ensure compliance with all applicable credit union policies state and federal regulations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service before during and after the transaction.

AVP Commercial Lending

Manages

This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities .

Required Skills Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in finance business or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3 5 years of experience in commercial or business lending within financial services.

Strong knowledge of commercial loan products services regulations and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated success in sales portfolio growth and meeting production goals.

Excellent communication relationship-building and advisory skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional member service.
