Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, SCADA systems, or industrial control systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, Python, or C#. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, and automation workflows. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of safety regulations, industrial controls, and electrical systems is a plus. Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Programmer role in Phoenix, AZ.
Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest-quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, modify, and maintain software used in manufacturing automation, production equipment, and facility operations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and automated systems to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to identify system requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure reliability and compliance with facility standards.
- Integrate new equipment, sensors, and controls into existing production lines.
- Document code changes, system configurations, and technical procedures accurately.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Provide technical support during equipment installations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, software issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
