- Cloud Infrastructure Management :
- Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on platforms such as GCP, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

- Deployment and Automation :
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment processes, configuration management, and application scaling.

- Monitoring and Optimization :
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security threats, and infrastructure issues. Continuously optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency.

- Security and Compliance :
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance standards relevant to the financial industry.
5.
- Incident Response :
- Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
6.
- Documentation :
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices for the team's reference.
7.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and architects, to ensure the seamless operation of applications in the cloud environment.

- Capacity Planning :
- Monitor resource utilization and plan for capacity expansion or reduction based on the changing needs of the applications.
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or similar role in a cloud-native environment.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of network architecture and security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., GCP Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
