About the Role

The Practice Support Analyst eDiscovery Operations is an integral part of Lathams T echnology & Information Services department. This role will be responsible for primarily supporting the eDiscovery vendor program for the Practice Support Services team while managing project prioritization deadline negotiation and expectation management for case teams and Project Managers . This role will be located in either our Los Angeles New York or Washington D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. This role will also require working Pacific Time Zone hours regardless of office location.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include :

• Aiding in developing the firms relationships with eDiscovery service providers by attending regular meetings to discuss performance evaluating new services and ensuring compliance with the firms security data management and data privacy standards
• Leveraging the standard workflow for procuring eDiscovery and managed document review providers including using template client service agreements and escalating issues to subject matter experts
• Supporting the eDiscovery Operations team in the screening process for contract attorney candidates contributing to the development of standard forms and procedures for screening candidates and facilitating exception requests for disqualified candidates
• Maintaining and updating a current repository of vendor information including contacts pricing mergers and acquisitions client engagements and services offered
• Collaborating with management to track Project Manager team compliance with matter vendor tracking and data disposition requirements
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive confidential privileged financial and / or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
