Job Description
RESPEC seeks an experienced Senior Mining Engineer for our Reno, NV location.
The responsibilities for this position include evaluation of resource and reserve models, complete mine pit or stope optimizations, creating open pit or underground designs, waste dump design, haul road design, and advising clients on project development. Additional responsibilities include estimating equipment and personnel requirements, estimating capital and operating costs for projects, project economic evaluation, preparing technical reports, business development and project management. The successful candidate will work with junior engineering staff to manage mining-related projects. Domestic and international travel may be required for visits to client mine sites as well as for client and corporate meetings.

Additional Information
Compensation : Salary depends on experience and expertise. The salary range for this position is $120k-$150k. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100% employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
