Assistant Rig Manager

JOB SUMMARY

To provide drilling expertise and leadership to ensure that drilling rig operations are conducted in accordance with the drilling contract and that well programs are executed in accordance with operator’s instructions. Liaise on a daily basis with Noble’s offshore leadership, with the operator’s onshore representative, and with Noble’s onshore support staff in the execution of contract obligations. Execute Noble’s drilling / core business in a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manner with the utmost consideration to our customers’ needs for assigned assets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• OMDP experience or 5+ years of offshore experience.
• Effective drilling operations management and leadership skills.
• Ability to promote a “safety-is-a-value” culture.
• Good working knowledge of general drilling systems for offshore based operations.
• Working knowledge of HSE practices common to the company and the industry.
• Leadership and teamwork skills and behaviors which support a team based organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations.
• Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Travel is an essential job function (domestic, international and offshore).
