Platform Engineer (Seattle)

Platform Engineer : Help Build the Future of Open AI

Hybrid onsite , Seattle, WA or San Mateo, CA

Compensation : $Upto $230K + Equity (negotiable - depending on experience)

Our client is on a mission to make frontier AI truly open and accessible to all. They believe the best way to develop transformative technology is through open collaboration, cutting-edge research, and radical ownership and theyre looking for a Platform Engineer to help lead that charge.

This is a unique opportunity to architect and build the infrastructure powering open-source AI development. Youll work across the stack, with a focus on backend systems and infrastructure, in a fast-moving, research-driven environment. Role / Responsibilities :

• Design and implement scalable platform architecture from scratch
• Build high-performance backend services and APIs (Python, Rust optional)
• Automate infrastructure with modern DevOps tools
• Lead technical decisions and set engineering standards
• Own features end-to-end from concept to deployment
