We specialize in orthopedic and surgical services, ICU, women's services, comprehensive cardiovascular care, and more, including an outpatient imaging center and medical plazas that support family medicine residency programs.

Summary :

As a skilled Nurse in a dynamic clinical setting, you will practice independently while demonstrating an acute awareness of situational elements. You will provide both routine and complex patient care, develop long-range goals, and adeptly manage the contingencies of clinical nursing. You will also make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities :

• Exceed expectations in aligning with OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Deliver nursing care adhering to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families according to your professional level.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, and monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and offer education to patients and caregivers, while identifying relevant issues and resources.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of employment, and are precepted by a trained staff member. Initial onboarding requirements are validated through successful participation in designated competency validations.

Work Schedule : 7PM - 7AM

Work Type : Per Diem As Needed
