EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an  Equipment Mechanic for a company based in Northport, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for preparing rental equipment for delivery, make appropriate modifications and repairs to units before delivery, and clean units before they are sent out. You will repair and clean equipment upon return from customer sites and complete service calls. Pay Rate

$22.00 to $28.00 per hour Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 800 am to 500 pm. Equipment Mechanic  Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose standard issues with heavy equipment powertrain, hydraulic, and electrical systems using a computer analyzer and traditional troubleshooting methods.
• Complete preventative maintenance such as changing filters, checking fluids, and filling tires.
• Assist other mechanics with tasks such as lifting or moving heavy objects.
• Perform standard and complex repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Assist in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading fleet orders.
• Complete inspections and make notes on rental tags.
• Help clean yard and shop area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned in a safe manor.
