Join our team at Regis Galerie, a premier art gallery known for its exquisite collection of contemporary and classic artworks. As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing an exceptional experience to our valued clients. The main objective for a sales associate is to assist customers and make sales of assigned merchandise and transitioning elite clientele to senior sales staff.

Position : Retail Sales Associate

Job Type : Full-time / Part-time

Salary : $18 per hour + 5% commission

Benefits :

Full medical insurance and paid vacation for full-time employees after a probation period.

Responsibilities :

Engage with clients, both in-person and over the phone, to provide expert guidance and assistance during the sales process

Cooperate and assist senior sales directors as needed during transactions

Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with customers to ensure a personalized and memorable gallery experience

Communicate with various departments to ensure smooth and accurate completion of all sales

Process all sales transactions through a POS system and providing appropriate paperwork to proper departments

Utilize basic computer skills for data entry, inventory management, and customer records.

Embrace a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Assist with merchandising, creating and maintaining clean visual displays

Managing stock levels, completing inventory and assisting in order placement as necessary

Greet customers as they enter the gallery

Answer customer questions and assist with request

Demonstrate a strong knowledge of merchandise

Execute purchases and returns checking for accuracy

Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner

Answer, transfer and assist with incoming calls

Requirements :

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education

Business casual dress code to represent the gallery's professionalism and style

Bilingual abilities are preferred but not mandatory

Exceptional communication skills to connect with a diverse clientele

Strong customer service in all aspects of the sales process

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
