The Opportunity
We’re looking for a
technically skilled Account Manager
with a passion for
Unified Communications (UC), IT, and Pro AV solutions . This role will drive growth by developing relationships with integrators, consultants, and enterprise end-users across the
Metro New York region .
You’ll bridge
technology and business value , helping customers design and implement cutting‑edge communication and collaboration environments.
What You’ll Do
Manage accounts and grow relationships across
AV / IT integrators, consultants, and enterprise customers
Sell
UC and AV product solutions
from the PES portfolio — including conferencing, collaboration, audio, video, and control systems
Identify and develop new business opportunities through
solution‑based consultative selling
Deliver engaging
product demos, technical presentations, and training
Collaborate with manufacturer partners on product launches, field events, and customer support
Stay ahead of trends in
AV‑over‑IP, UC platforms, and networked systems
Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasting, and activity reports
Represent PES at
industry events, trade shows, and regional demonstrations
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in
AV / UC / IT sales, technical sales, or account management
Strong technical knowledge of
networked audio / video, conferencing, collaboration, and IT infrastructure
Proven success building relationships with
integrators, consultants, and enterprise clients
Excellent presentation and communication skills with both technical and executive audiences
Self‑motivated and organized with strong follow‑through
Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline management
Willingness to travel locally throughout Metro NY, Northern NJ, and Long Island
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network of
AV integrators / UC partners / enterprise end‑users
in the region
Familiarity with PES manufacturer lines (e.g., Shure, LEA, Sonance, Audinate, Williams AV)
CTS or manufacturer certifications
(Shure, Dante, AVIXA, Crestron, etc.)
Experience with
AV‑IT convergence and enterprise collaboration environments
