USGP is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to military service members, veterans, and their families at the Pulmonary Clinic located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Education :
Associate degree requiredGraduate of an accredited program by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)Certifications :
Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications requiredExperience :
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in critical care and neonatal respiratory care within the past three (3) yearsImmunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain) :
Hepatitis B (series and titer)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)Varicella (Chickenpox)TB (Tuberculosis) testSeasonal Influenza (flu) vaccineCOVID-19 vaccine (if applicable) Key ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our team, you will :
Perform complex respiratory care procedures independentlyCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop patient treatment plansProvide emergency and critical respiratory interventionsAdminister respiratory therapies and perform blood gas analysesOperate and troubleshoot various respiratory equipment, including ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen systems, and sterilization unitsMonitor and maintain respiratory equipment, reporting any maintenance needsPerform airway management techniques and administer prescribed medicationsConduct patient assessments, document clinical findings, and provide therapeutic recommendationsDeliver oxygen and respiratory equipment to designated unitsEducate patients on breathing exercises and respiratory therapy protocolsWhy USGP?
