The EHS Professional is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving Environmental, Health, and Safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. This role supports organizational objectives by analyzing EHS risks, monitoring adherence to standards, and contributing to audits, reporting, and training initiatives. The position requires applying technical and regulatory expertise to non-routine situations and supporting projects and process improvements.
Responsibilities :
Develop, propose, and implement EHS processes, methods, and programs .
Plan and execute rollout of EHS initiatives , tracking milestones and outcomes.
Monitor compliance with EHS standards , conduct gap analyses, and prepare internal reports.
Analyze changes in EHS laws and regulations and recommend updates to internal standards.
Support internal and external EHS audits and corrective action plans.
Prepare and submit regulatory EHS reports to authorities and internal stakeholders.
Maintain operational contact with external regulatory authorities .
Deliver EHS training to employees and management.
Continuously stay current with regional and local EHS regulations and standards .
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Science , or related field; Master’s degree acceptable for entry.
2+ years of experience in an EHS / compliance role.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, audits, and reporting .
Experience with process improvement, data analysis, and EHS management systems .
Ability to manage milestones, work independently, and provide functional guidance to others.
Effective communication and documentation skills with a developing business acumen.
