Overview

Our Client is seeking a highly creative Freelance Designer to support a rebrand initiative and ongoing marketing campaigns. This role will focus on crafting high-quality, visually engaging assets that align with an established style guide while allowing room for fresh design suggestions. You will collaborate with internal partners to translate ideas into impactful visuals for digital and print platforms, helping to maintain brand consistency while driving customer engagement.

Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

You Will

• Develop innovative and visually stunning designs for digital and print platforms, including email, social media, web banners, and promotional materials.
• Translate and evolve brand guidelines into engaging creative assets that support rebrand initiatives.
• Produce high-quality visuals with a strong understanding of typography, photography, and evolving design trends.
• Collaborate with copywriters and stakeholders to ensure design and messaging align seamlessly.
• Support product launches, educational promotions, and tradeshow materials through mood boards, graphics, and layouts.
• Manage multiple projects with attention to detail and timely delivery under tight deadlines.
• Leverage Photoshop for product shots and social content and use Figma for collaborative design work (no coding required).

You Have

• A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally in agency or fast-paced environments.
• An outstanding portfolio that demonstrates exceptional creativity, versatility, and measurable results.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with advanced Figma skills, plus working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• A strong grasp of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience best practices.
• The ability to infuse creativity into brand-aligned designs while offering thoughtful design suggestions.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet rapid turnaround demands.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a solutions-focused, team-oriented mindset.
• A dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering design that inspires.

• Start Date/Duration: Starting ASAP and ongoing
• Hours/Week: 10-20 Hours/Week
• Onsite/Offsite: Hybrid in Naperville, IL (1-2 days per week)
• Laptop/Software Requirements: Working on your own Laptop & Software
