Radiology - Interventional Physician

Hospital is seeking a LOCUM interventional radiologist to join their Hospital team ASAP!

• Coverage needed due to physician retirement
• Hospital-based practice setting
• Schedule : 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., call coverage for entire week if working that week
• Average of 8-11 cases daily, with high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
• Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000
• EMR : EPIC; teleradiology via Radia on Philips ISite platform
• Team : 2 interventional radiologists locally, 25+ system-wide; standard hospital IR support staff
• Patient population : Adults (includes geriatric and adolescent patients)
• Board Certification required : AOBR or ABR
• Fellowship training required in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Required procedures : Angiography, CT, Ultrasound
• Required interventional procedures : Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty
• Credentialing timeframe : Approximately 3-4 months
