Assistant Girls Basketball JV2 Coach -Wilsonville High School

This position starts November 17 2025.

Position Summary :

Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with organizing theBasketballprogram at the assigned school.

Assists with conducting practices motivating students and instruction student athletes in game strategies and techniques.

Assists Head Coach (HC) with instructing players in the rules regulations equipment and techniques of the sport.

Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities / exercises as directed by the head baseball coach.

Assist in the organization and supervision of the coaching staff to assure that the program is properly implemented.

Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and community.

Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players officials and spectators.

Knowledge of the fundamentals and strategies of competitive high school basketball; ability to teach and develop players. Solid communication skills. One who can establish positive relations with student-athletes parents and coaching staff. Help build up numbers of participants through connections with the youth program and other programs at the high school.

The coach shall have completed the annual online required trainings as well as other West Linn-Wilsonville employment requirements.
