Anesthesiologist - Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center - Full Time at North American Partners in Anesthesia, Newport News, VA.
Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center located on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center. This facility is an extension of the medical center with four operating suites designed for comfort, convenience, and efficiency. The surgical team uses the latest technology to perform outpatient endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures that support quicker recovery times for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Provide medical management of patients rendered unconscious or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and / or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
