Gameday Internship

Overview The Lexington Legends are a proud member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and Central Kentucky's longest-running professional sports team. The Legends continue to build on a tradition of community impact, family-friendly entertainment, and excellence both on and off the field.

Position Overview :

The Lexington Legends Internship program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of professional baseball. Interns will play a key role in helping drive the success of the Lexington Legends both on and off the field while gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of a professional sports organization.

Timeline : April 1st - September 6th.

Expectations : Interns are expected to work the full duration of the 2026 baseball season.

Compensation : Paid per Game-day. Hours : 10-30 hours per week, depending on the game schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with game set-up and take-down.
• Assist with post-game duties (fireworks pick-up, handing out schedules, etc.).
• Work as a ticket sales representative, assisting with incoming, outgoing, and walk-up ticket sales in the Legends Box Office.
• Serve as a Legends Ambassador and Member of the Street Team.
• Non-game day work is available in the ticket office.
• Other Gameday duties may include assisting with concourse tabling, serving as a guest services representative, assisting with the Kids Zone, and serving as a member of the Promotions Team.
• Other duties as assigned.
