Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our client's dynamic automotive team in Detroit, MI. This position plays a key role in managing and executing complex customer programs from prototype development through retrofit and repair phases. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and technically adept professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at building strong cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer program activities, including coordination with Product Engineering, Launch, Manufacturing, and Quality teams from kickoff through completion.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication, ensuring all project milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Lead and track prototype and preproduction builds, ensuring accuracy and quality at each phase.
• Maintain detailed program documentation, including timing plans, open issues, and action item logs.
• Represent the company in customer and supplier meetings, ensuring expectations, requirements, and objectives are clearly communicated.
• Partner with the Quality and Engineering teams to uphold both internal and external standards.
• Monitor and report on program health, risks, and progress, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
• Participate in change management processes, ensuring all updates are implemented effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to support seamless execution.

Qualifications :

3 5 years of program or project management experience (preferably within the automotive industry). Proven track record of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with other project tracking tools is a plus. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
