Security Officer - Flex Logistics Access Control

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to support a welcoming atmosphere. By delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will contribute to a positive experience for everyone on site, reflecting our company's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, maintaining accurate logs as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist with the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors and personnel as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to communicate observations and / or incidents as appropriate.
  • Support emergency response activities when required, in accordance with site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
