As a Tax Senior Associate, you will be responsible for the following :

• Working closely with engagement managers and partners, you will be the primary lead on tax engagements, including scheduling, staffing, and completing returns; providing the first level of technical review; performing research on various technical matters and managing both internal and client deadline expectations.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and act as the primary client contact to proactively gather tax information, ensure that client emails / questions are responded to in a timely manner, identify tax planning opportunities, and escalate questions / concerns to the engagement manager or partner.
• Ensure that quarterly estimates and year end projections are prepared and reviewed.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Supervise, train and mentor Tax Associates and Interns, including acting as a Project Manager to ensure that they can adequately prioritize and complete their assigned work.
