Remote News Updates Editor

A company is looking for a News Updates Editor to write timely content for Southern Living.

Key Responsibilities :

Research and perform revisions, updates, and rewrites to content according to project instructions and brand guidelines

Fact check, copy edit, and source imagery that aligns with project guidelines

Pitch and write timely news content for publication

Required Qualifications :

At least 3 years of experience writing or editing for home and lifestyle brands

Strong editorial background in home design, gardening, food, and related areas

Bachelor's degree required

Experience with content management systems, including WordPress

Ability to work remotely with access to a smartphone, computer, and secure internet connection
