Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This special education teaching opportunity is available in Greensboro, NC with a focus on K-12 students. The position is a contract role for the current school year, running from January 5, 2026, to May 22, 2026. It offers full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 10 students with severe disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), non-verbal communication challenges, difficult behaviors, and developmental delays. The classroom environment will serve a diverse age range within grades K-12, providing specialized instruction tailored to each student's needs.
Qualified candidates must hold an active North Carolina license in Adaptive Curriculum for Cross-Categorical special education teachers. Experience working with severe disabilities and behavioral challenges in an educational setting is essential.
