Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : February 11, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250 Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs required EMR System : Epic (Epic EMR experience required) CVICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU experience in a Level One Trauma Center Epic EMR experience required Clinical competency with post-operative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU Proficient in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive / inotropic drip titration Ability to pass a nursing competency test within 24 hours of submission Up-to-date email required for testing and onboarding Must wear navy blue scrubs CVICU RN Responsibilities Provide expert nursing care to high-acuity post-cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the CVICU Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic parameters and life-support equipment Interpret ECGs and respond to cardiac emergencies Administer and titrate vasoactive and inotropic medications Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families Apply now to join our healthcare team in Albany, NY and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
