Additional $20 hours when floated within Region I that's not the primary facility. Unit ER- Level IV. Cardiac and Stroke center # beds 32 total beds, no designated fast track area. 2 trauma bays and 2 seclusion rooms # patients per day avg. 125-150 Certs BLS, ACLS, PALS OR ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS Ratios 1:4-5 depending on acuity EMR/ Medication dispensing EPIC Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Charge nurse for both shifts. Tries to be a free charge, unless the need arises to take a patient assignment Nurse Aides/Paramedics ED techs and EMTs. Ranges from 4-8 techs/EMTs at a time Security/Patient sitters One security officer in ER at all times. ED techs to sit with patients Weekend Requirement every other Holidays rotation with perm staff Scrub Color Any professional colored scrubs Tele/Monitor Techs Central monitoring station at the desk. Nurses to monitor, must be able to read and interpret strips. Vents Yes ED Physicians/Mid-Levels During the busiest times 3 Drs and a midlevel, after 0300 one Dr until AM. Lab Draws RNs, ED techs can do draws, also phlebotomy RT 24/7 yes, one is dedicated for ER Pharmacy 24/7 In house 24/7. 1300 to 2300 one pharmacist is dedicated to ER Shifts. 7p-7a, 12 hour shifts. Manager does the schedule 6 weeks at a time. May allow blocked scheduling especially for night shift Floating no floating outside of ER Floor specific orientation Day 1- educator/ modules. Day 2 EPIC class. Day 3 x1 shift of floor specific orientation Common diagnosis / Types of patients General ER patients, stroke, tPA capable, STEMI, major trauma is stabilized and transferred. Transfer pediatric patients if admitted. Additional Notes If candidate has triage experience.
