Job Description :

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Information System Security professional with particular technical experience in network appliances such as routers, switches, and firewalls that would work across multiple product lines within L3Harris’ Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) portfolio. You will be part of a diversely skilled engineering team in the design, implementation, and testing of complex interoperable systems. This position will work closely with applicable Information System Owner(s), information systems engineers, program management, and product development teams to explain and interpret cybersecurity processes, practices, and procedures such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-53, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Overall duties include but are not limited to :

• Designing and Implementing Security Solutions : Develop and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Developing Security Policies : Create and enforce network security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Monitoring Network Activity : Continuously monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential security breaches.
• Conducting Security Audits : Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability management, and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Responding to Incidents : Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing timely resolutions and reporting findings.
