JOINING OUR SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Pay:

• $23.42 – $25.63 per hour

DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS CIVIL ENGINEERING JOB

This full-time civil engineer position works Monday–Thursday (four 10-hour days).

While working with our Civil Engineering Summer Internship, you'll get hands-on exposure to real engineering projects - verifying material quantities, inspecting construction materials, and sampling asphalt and aggregates for testing. You'll handle field measurements, perform calculations, review reports, and document project data. Out in the field, you'll work with your crew on staking, surveying, and even assist with small project management tasks. Every day brings something new, and every task helps you grow as an engineer.

THE TYPE OF INTERN WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an engineer who meets these requirements:

• High school diploma and completion of at least one year in Surveying, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction curriculum

OR

• 1+ year of surveying or highway construction experience (may be substituted)

Preferred:

• 1+ year completed of a 4-year Civil Engineering or Construction Management program

OR

• 1+ year completed of a 2-year Surveying or Construction Tech program, with familiarity in construction testing procedures
