In this Intensive Care Unit, you will care for patients with complex diagnoses such as pneumonia, sepsis, cerebrovascular accident, coronary artery disease, chronic kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and congestive heart failure.

You will use advanced equipment including Swan-Ganz catheters, intra-aortic balloon pumps, ventilators, and Envue feeding tubes. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 2, sometimes flexing to 1 : 3, so you can provide focused care.

You must have a minimum of 18 months of ICU experience and hold a degree or diploma in registered nursing. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong clinical assessment skills are required.
