About The Position

Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical experience required.

License :

OK or Compact license required.

Certifications :

Required certifications must be held.

Must-Have :

Meditech experience required.

Expectations to float to all med-surg floors.

Pediatric experience preferred.

Description :

Registered Nurse position available in the Medical Surgical specialty.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting.

Experience with the Meditech charting system is required.

Nurses will be expected to float to different medical-surgical floors as needed.

Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.

COVID-19 vaccination is required with only medical or religious exemptions considered.

Flu vaccination is also required with only medical exemptions considered.

Candidates should have previous experience in patient care and be prepared for a varied patient demographic.

The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment and must demonstrate strong clinical skills.

Interdisciplinary support is provided from various healthcare professionals including IV teams and respiratory services.

Patient ages encompass adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The unit is equipped to handle diverse patient diagnoses and care needs.

Daily census is approximately 27 patients, with a total of 33 beds available.
