As an ESOP organization serving the global aerospace market, we take pride in precision. We are growing and hiring two experienced Quality Control Inspectors to protect the integrity of our components and the trust of our customers.
A day in this role
You start with incoming parts—verifying to spec—then move to in-process checkpoints on the floor. Later, you finalize production lots, complete AS9102 First Article Inspections, and close the loop with clear, traceable records. Along the way, you partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Receiving to solve problems before they reach the customer.
What you will handle
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to customer requirements and company standards
- Use advanced metrology tools : calipers, micrometers, bore gages, optical comparators, profilometers, and thickness gages
- Lead and document AS9102 First Article Inspections and other complex inspections
- Create, refine, and review inspection plans for repeatable, robust results
- Execute hardness and electrical conductivity testing
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure measurement reliability
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics with strong GD&T fluency
- Ensure adherence to aerospace specifications, quality codes, and standards (AS9100 environment)
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Receiving
